Parallel tracks of Paper Presentations for sharing of knowledge and experience in the effective use of information and communication technologies in support of medical and healthcare services.

The eHealth Forum 2006 invites leading authorities around the world to submit papers for presentation on topics relevant to application of ICT technologies in the medical and healthcare arena. Papers on topics of the following themes will be of special interest to the Forum:

- Information dissemination models for epidemiological catastrophe
- Understanding epidemiological patterns using Information Technology
- Environmental health and GIS
- Socio-economic factors and disease patterns

- Mobile and wireless in health - new opportunities and threats
- Online interactive health information system development

- Legal issues on personal privacy and data dissemination

The Call For Papers Process

The Call for Papers request will be open 1 April 2006. All paper abstracts must be submitted before 17:00 Hong Kong time on the closing date.

A Review Committee (members are appointed based on Organizers’ recommendations) will consider papers submitted through to middle of August.

The Organizing Committee will make final decisions on programme speakers based on recommendations from the Review Committee.

- Notification will be posted in the website for all accepted papers.

How to Submit
All paper abstracts must be submitted via email ehealthforum2006@ehealth.org.hk with
- name of author(s),
- designation,
- name of organization,
- email address,
- title of paper, and
- body of abstract not exceeding 200 words.

Further instructions for full paper submission will be given upon acceptance of abstract. Acceptance as a paper presenter does not register you for the Forum, and registration fee is required.
